Epic Voices: Stacy Szymaszek with Bernadette Mayer

Beloved New York School poet and artist Bernadette Mayer joins poet and former director of the Poetry Project Stacy Szymaszek in a craft conversation on daily writing, quotidian epic, and conceptual long poems including Mayer’s Midwinter Day, Studying Hunger, Works and Days, and Szymaszek’s trilogy of poetic journals. Introduced by Belladonna Collaborative and followed by an audience Q&A with Mayer and Szymaszek. Co-presented with Belladonna* Collaborative.
