Julian Carter

Julian Carter works in many genres, drawing on both his Ph.D. in 20th c cultural and intellectual history and decades of deep commitment to embodied creative practice. In all his modes and media, he returns to questions of how we mortals shape our bodyminds in reference to one another through ever-shifting relations of pleasure, touch, complicity, recognition, and temporal change. He’s proud to say that each new project is a little more idiosyncratic, a little less academic, than the one before.
