JARED STANLEY was born in Arizona, grew up in California, and now lives in Nevada. He is the author of three books of poetry: Ears, The Weeds, and Book Made of Forest. A recipient of a 2018 Silver Pen Award from the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame, Stanley teaches in the MFA program at the University of Nevada, Reno.
