Submissions

POETRY
We're accepting poetry submissions through our annual Poetry Prize. The 2013 Nightboat Poetry Prize details will be posted this summer on our website.

PROSE

We'll be considering prose manuscripts during June and July 2013.

Please familiarize yourself with Nightboat Books’s editorial affinities by checking out our titles.

We're looknig for innovative prose projects; no novels, no short-story collections. Your manuscript might include poetry and poetic sections, but we we're not considering poetry collections at this time.

Please include the following with your manuscript:

(a) your name and contact information
(b) a short professional biography
(c) a description of the book/project

Double-sided prefered.

We cannot be as generous as we would like by responding individually to confirm the receipt of your manuscript or to report on its status. Therefore, we will only contact you if we are interested in publishing it. If you don’t hear from us within four months, please assume that your manuscript did not meet our editorial needs. We are not able to return manuscripts. All manuscripts will be recycled.
