On Sunday, August 11, at 3pm, Rock Valley One-Room Schoolhouse and Nightboat Books Present A Poetry Reading With Three Poets


A New York School poet, Crase is the author of the poetry collection The Revisionist (1981), which was nominated for a National Book Critics Circle Award; AMERIFIL.TXT: A Commonplace Book (1997); and Both: A Portrait in Two Parts (2004). He lives in New York City and Honesdale, PA.


Poet, translator, and scholar Mónica de la Torre was born and raised in Mexico City. Her poetry collections include Public Domain (2008),Talk Shows (2007), and Acúfenos (2006).  She is a senior editor at BOMB Magazine and lives in Brooklyn.


A former Stegner Fellow at Stanford University,Teare is the author of four full-length books, The Room Where I Was Born, Sight Map, the Lambda-Award-winning Pleasure, and Companion Grasses. He teaches at Temple University in Philadelphia.
