Support Nightboat Books
Nightboat Books has had a busy year, publishing books of poetry by Etel Adnan, Felix Bernstein, Donald Britton Susan Gevirtz, Michael Heller, Brenda Iijima, Vi Khi Nao, Juliet Patterson, Brynne Rebelle-Henry, and Maged Zaher. We released a book on queer writing and art by Ariel Goldberg and a short novel by Nathanaël. Brian Blanchfield’s Proxies: Essays Near Knowing, published in April, has received glowing reviews and been named the best book of the year by Garth Greenwell in Publisher’s Weekly. Thanks to all of you that have supported us by reading, purchasing, and sharing our books.
We’re working hard to prepare our 2017 titles, including new collections of poetry by Samiya Bashier, Duriel E. Harris, Rosamond S. King, Wayne Koestenbaum, Aditi Machado, Jared Stanley, Stacy Szymaszek, Cole Swensen, and Alli Warren. We’ll publish an exciting new reader of New Narrative writing edited by Dodie Bellamy and Kevin Killian, an omnibus of Bruce Boone’s writing, an expanded version of a classic collaborative work by Olga Broumas and T Begley, new books of prose by Andrew Durbin and Douglas A. Martin, as well as translations of work by Wilson Bueno and Alain Jugnon.
Nightboat Books is dedicated to publishing a diverse array of poetry and prose. We believe that innovative and experimental books deepen our engagement with the political, the personal, and the most pressing issues of our day. We are committed to publishing beautifully produced books that resist convention and transcend boundaries, sparking new conversation and debates. We believe these dialogues are more important now than ever.
Publishing all these books takes a lot of labor and energy. We need your help to continue doing our work and strengthening our organization’s core. Please help Nightboat Books by making a donation today! Donors will be acknowledged on our website and, for those who give $250 or more, in the back of a future Nightboat publication.
