This special two-part event begins with readings by Forward Prize-winning poets Kei Miller and Vahni Capildeo and a conversation with Susannah Herbert, director of the Forward Arts Foundation; followed by readings from four debut books: Pitch Lake, by Andre Bagoo; Make Us All Islands, by Richard Georges; Rock | Salt | Stone, by Rosamond S. Whether you write narrative poetry, experimental fiction, or even scholarly prose, this interactive workshop introduces the basic elements of reading literature out loud.
