Etel Adnan is the author of numerous books of poetry and prose, including the ground-breaking novel Sitt-Marie Rose. She is a recipient of a 2010 PEN Oakland-Josephine Miles National Literary Award. She lives between Sausalito, California; Paris; and Beirut.
